SVA MFAD 2025 Venture
Fran is a modular plush toy designed to help children understand and accept physical differences — not by teaching, but by making space. With mix-and-match arms, legs, and ears, each Fran toy can be assembled in different ways — or left unfinished. There’s no “right” way to build it, just as there’s no “standard” way to be. Fran isn’t here to correct or explain. It’s here to gently open up conversations, offer comfort, and remind kids — and their families — that difference is not something strange. It’s just life.
